Hotel Villa Maria

This hotel is on a busy intersection in the port town of Ischia, on the island of Ischia. The property has both pros and cons. On the positive side, the rate is quite economical, compared to other hotels on the island, which are very expensive. It is also very near the ferry port, only 5 minutes away, as well as the bus station. The bus to the fantastic beach (#5) stops right in front of the hotel, which is convenient. It's also near the main dining and shopping streets. On the downside, the rooms are small, with sketchy internet. Some rooms are larger with a terrace, with wifi, but others are tiny and without wifi. Rooms facing the street will be very noisy. Others much less so. So, overall, good value for money, but not the place for a romantic holiday.

Great location, beautiful property, nice staffs. Easy access to the port, restaurants and sightseeing.

Great Breakfast, Very Nice Lunch Menu offered daily (at addl. charge), Convenient Locale, and Friendly Staff.

Nice hotel if you are looking for an authentic southern Italian experience.
