Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments

The courtyard is very charming and a great place to take a rest and break afore you head up to your room. Breakfast had a lot of variety, which was a great way to start your day.

It’s nice to have a room with a little charm, which our room lacked. The front desk service m, while satisfactory, was managed by young staff who we courteous but not warm, welcoming, or helpful.

The staff was great about calling cabs, making suggestions for navigating the city, and helping out whenever possible. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. Enjoyed sitting out in their courtyard area each morning.

Centre of historical area and walkable to the train station in Naples - give yourself at least 35 minutes. Great arched central outdoor area where breakfast is served and that is a lovely breakfast. Rooms are nice ( are a bit too modern when compared with esthetic of the building) but, soundproofed and very comfortable. Nice touch with two shot glasses and a small bottle of Limoncello complimentary.

Bed sheets are rough and not silky smooth so that could definately be improved - fabric quality of pillow cases and fitted sheets.

Excellent location.

The location on Piazza Bellini is excellent. The hotel is basic — fine for what it is. But I left with a sour taste. The courtyard is prominently featured throughout the hotel's website and marketing, and it factored into my decision to book. On my second afternoon, between lunch and dinner, I stepped outside to enjoy two slices of pizza there — alone, quietly, for maybe five minutes. A staff member came out and told me I couldn't sit there. When I explained I was a hotel guest with a view of my own room, he went and retrieved the manager. I got up and left without incident. The reason given was that the courtyard serves food and outside food isn't permitted. I understand the policy. What I don't understand is the execution. There are no signs anywhere indicating this is a café, that outside food is prohibited, or frankly that it's anything other than an open courtyard — anyone can walk in off the street. The only listed hours anywhere are the breakfast hours, none other. Worth noting: the hotel entrance is located inside this courtyard. To enter or exit the hotel, you pass directly through the café space. A small group was sitting there playing cards — no food, no drinks, no issue. I had two slices of pizza and management was summoned. The courtyard is the hotel's own Buvette Bar, not a third-party business sharing a space — and yet a paying guest with takeout was made to feel like a trespasser — treated as the problem rather than a person to accommodate. A friendly heads-up would have been enough. Instead it felt unreasonable, and frankly, rude.
