The staff were delightful. The location is superb. The 12 noon checkout allowed for a leisurely morning of sightseeing rather than having to rush vis-a-vis a 10 AM deadline. The building is gorgeous.

Gorgeous mountain top town with a true heritage feel and an escape from commercialism.
The hotel is absolutely quaint, well built and comfortable. Staff is first class, breakfast was great.
