Such a lovely property! The grounds are beautiful and having a pool to use after a hot day of walking around is wonderful. We found our dinner in the restaurant to be excellent! Good breakfast buffet! The only slight downside is if you want to go into Florence every day, while they do offer a shuttle, it stops quite a walk from the centre of town and the schedule isn’t always convenient so we needed up taking taxis a lot which added up financially. Still worth the area and the hotel but be aware of location. We loved it!

Parking was in a secure garage and easy but you have to see reception first. Staff were amazing and very accommodating. I did see one receptionist get abused by a guest (not sure why) but if she had that big a problem she should have asked for the manager and not abused the receptionist. Meals and bar were easy restaurant was amazing. We only stayed one night but would love to have stayed 2. If you dont want a big restaurant meal you can just have a pizza or something light at the bar which is great. A must stay if you are in the area. They do have a shuttle to Florence but it is a 20min walk from the shuttle to the middle of Florence which you are told about before you get the shuttle.

Very charming property. Staff were helpful and the room was clean. Be mindful that it is a bit far from the 'main' area of Florence so this is good to factor in when you have to make your initial check in from the airport or train station. The hotel has a shuttle multiple times a day to get you closer to the museums, shopping, etc. during your stay. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here!

Great hotel, around 20 mins drive from Florence so not too far but bear in mind if you’re driving there is a restricted zone. The property is an old mill from the 1300s with a beautiful view over the River Arno. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was very nice - although it’s certainly nothing particularly exceptional, just an ok buffet spread with the usual. The rooms are nice but a little dated (however it’s a really really old building, so some might find this part of the charm). Overall would go back and recommend.
