Lardos Bay

We stayed from the 11th-16th August and had a great time! The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist who worked most mornings. We felt very safe. The pool is great and usually had sun loungers available. The shop is cheap and has good options. We booked full board which is actually soft all inclusive (alcohol with meals but not at the bar, all food, snacks and soft drinks included). The food was great, a good selection for everyone even fussy eaters, we loved the pasta bar and pancakes. We arrived just before dinner finished and they rushed us in so we could eat before it closed, we left at 7pm and they allowed us to keep our all inclusive all day. They have great excursions, definitely book the calypso lazy day cruise, only €55 for 6 hours on a boat with 4 swim stops in the bluest sea you’ve ever seen and lunch and fruit included. There’s a €10 transfer but it was fully booked so we got the bus just in front of the hotel for €1.80 each way, the timetable can change daily though so be sure to check. Only negatives were that the cleaners (who do an amazing job! Even mopping the floors every other day) propped the door open while cleaning so there were a lot of bugs in the room, the bathroom just had a frosted shower door which didn’t block any sound so there was very little privacy and the emergency light by the door was really bright, it lit up the whole room and couldn’t be turned off. Overall totally worth it for a great holiday!

The staff were very friendly. Frederica and Valentina were the best front desk staff I have ever met. For a three star hotel the food was a little better than one would expect. Especially during these pandemic times.

Little gem staff are friendly the hotel has well equipped rooms although could do with a kettle, enjoyed my stay immensely.

We stayed end of Sept 2026. The area itself didn't have much for amenities but the hotel complex had everything we needed, with a gift shop with extras (snacks sun cream and toothpaste that we needed). Staff were all friendly and helpful. On arrival we were allocated a room that didn't match the description of the room we booked on Hotels.com, and were asked to wait for the hotel manager to come on duty later that evening to see what they could do. We were very pleased with the way he handled it, giving us an upgrade from our second night for the rest our trip. I must say the suites with semi-private pool were very nice, the water was cool (probably being end of Sept) but I had a dip every day, and while there were 7 other rooms sharing it, i had it to myself every time I used it. The buffet breakfast, included, was extensive, very efficient and friendly staff. Very clean, and coffee mugs, glasses, food, in constant supply. Even if you showed up at 9:15am, the spread was still good (they close at 9:30am but no one is rushing you). Same for dinner. We had the buffet 3 of the 5 nights. We weren't on a package, but still chose to eat there as the value was great at 25 euros each, and interesting selection each time, including the pizza and gyros stations that were always part of the it. We had a car, but I imagine for those who didn't, it was essential to have a nice dinner available on site.
