The hotel is beautiful and all the staff took great care of us while we were there. They serve incredible local food for breakfast and lunch and the Manager Felipe helped organised our visits everyday around Trancoso. We would dedinitely go back

Trancoso is a fabulous location in Bahia and the Etnia Pousada is very conveniently located a 2 minutes walk from the Quadrado and about 15 mins from the nearest beach.
The cottages are very comfortable with a lovely pool and communal area where an excellent breakfast is served. The nicest cottages have a view of the pool. The staff were very helpful and the standard of housekeeping was very high. we had a most relaxing break.

My husband and I loved our stay at Etnia! The hotel is great - beautiful place, very close to the Quadrado and beach, and incredibly friendly staff. They helped us with reservations at the beach and with restaurants in town.
So sad to leave, but we hope to be back soon!
