Plaza Beach Hotel

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very delicious. The staff helped us book multiple excursions. They helped us get a car for one that was across the island. They gave us recommendations. It was right on the beach and close to the bus stop making it very easy to not need to rent a car most days. Really nice restaurants were within walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t even leave if they had more Greek food options on the bar menu.

Three star hotel seems overrated: Cons: The rooms were very outdated. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, along with the bedding being old. The beach towels provided (specifically to our room) appeared to be rags. Other guests had newer towels. The bathroom had a tiny shower with doors that did not close and leaked water, completely soaking the bath mat with each shower. I would also recommend showering at night or being an early riser. There was no hot water any of the three days around 8:00AM. Pros: The rest of the property was quite nice, especially the pool area. We were able to lay all day by the pool and use the sunbeds. The breakfast was extensive, having a variety of meat, cheese, and breads, along with fruit, pastries, and eggs.

I will definitely recommend this place! We had a wonderful time, and the staff was amazing, especially Maria at the reception. She was so kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach, with easy access to walking areas and public transportation to explore the island and get to the city center. It was our first time on the island, and we absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to come back and spend even more time here! Highly recommended! ❤️
