Waldhotel & SPA Davos - for body & soul

The small details make a difference, and this hotel absolutely delivered this. From checking in, through the little details in the room, like the 'pillow menu' or the bedtime stories on the bedside table, the spa and beautiful location of the hotel (right behind you can start walking up to SchatzAlp), everything just made us feel so comfortable and not wanting to leave. The staff was very friendly and you could feel very taken care of. If you book a room with balcony looking at the valley, you will just want to spend time chilling on the sunbeds on that balcony. Fabolous view!

The only thing I would improve is the vegan and glutenfree breakfast options. There was only lactosefree yogurt and nothing gluten free. I did ask for oat milk, which they had fortunately. But everything was local product and fresh. Especially liked the pictures and stories of the producers above the product.

Great place, helpful staff, fabulous very professional restaurant with exceptional cuisine.

Location was good and view was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a free upgrade which was great and in general the hotel has the best location in Davos if you have a dog for walking routes on its doorstep.

Parking a bit weird, hotel is a bit dated but very clean overall a great hotel.

We were given a room upgrade which was a positive start. The room we were given was large and airy with a balcony overlooking the town. All the staff we encountered were excellent and seemed to work well as a team. We were given a kettle for our room when we requested it. The hotel had a friendly feel and a lot of attention had been paid to small details, which we appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Waldhotel and would love to return again one day.
