The Wood Norton

Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot.

Bed super comfortable, very clean sheets and linen, good breakfast and nice service.

Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant.

Absolutely amazing place - Grounds are excellent - gardens well cared for, both quiet and interesting at the same time. We could not have asked for a better place to stay - very central for Blenheim, Stratford, Warwick castle and more. Breakfast was perfect and intimate. Bedding very comfortable with amazing views from every window.
