The Kingston Theatre Hotel

The room was clean and spacious but the bathroom was tiny, "you could not swing a cat" (if you had one). See photo The hotel description of the room's facilities included air conditioning. When the staff were asked where it was they said try the cupboard. It turns out that the air conditioning was in fact a portable 'tower fan'. see photo

Charming hotel with a great feeling of history, both inside and out. Excellent breakfast with many menu choices and warm, helpful staff. Comfortable bar with well-made beverages.

Lovely quaint hotel. Friendly staff. Very comfortable and within one minute of the theatre.

Cannot fault this hotel, the staff were incredible and when I realised late night before I had inadvertently booked the wrong date, as they had availability, promptly replied kindly allowing us to stay on our intended date. As free parking included in our room rate, we were able to park on street directly opposite hotel. We had an amazing suite room, comfiest bed ever, the food in restaurant on evening was first class and good value. The decor and ambience of this hotel were very welcoming creating an eloquent and homely feel. We attended theatre opposite on the evening. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again. There are a number of steps to the front of hotel which may be difficult for persons with mobility issues but didn’t enquire if there is an alternative access.
