Carter Estate Winery and Resort

We stayed at Carters for two nights. The rooms were clean and spacious. Really enjoyed walking around the beautiful property.

Excellent views to the vineyards

It is a property that we stay at once or twice a year. We live in San Diego, and it becomes a wonderful midweek get away. The property is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well-lit at night. We always try to obtain the room facing the sunset so we can sit outside on the patio and drink a glass of wine while the sun sets. The rooms across the way faces the sunrise with the morning Air balloons filling the sky. The beds are comfortable and the large bathrooms have showers and a tub with two sinks to accommodate the guests. The chairs are comfortable and a small table to eat munchies with our wine. There is a small refrigerator to place your cheeses or cold cuts. There is also a safe to store your valuables and a Keurig to make that morning coffee Parking outside our rooms makes it very convenient for unpacking and packing our autos. The nearby restaurants are also conveniently located and have very good menus and preparation of the food. Overall, this is a wonderful facility to enjoy a nice vacation from San Diego and LA.
