The hotel is just a block away from the metro and and a couple of blocks from the beach. There's heaps of food options nearby and it's easier to get anywhere in the city from it.
Staff was a joy, rooms are standard Ibis rooms which are consistently good anywhere in the world. I would definitely recommend to stay at the hotel if you are coming to Rio.

I loved everything about the Ibis hotel. Everyone was very friendly. It was very clean, quiet and in a great area, safe, closed to shops, restaurants and walking distance to the beach.
Breakfast was so good with plenty of things to eat like different pastries, bread, cheeses, hot selection, and brazilian desserts.
Lunch at the restaurant was very good as well. I am definitely staying at this hotel again.
