This enchanting setting is a great place to soak up the atmosphere, with plenty of enticing eateries and regular evenings of Cretan music and dancing. Just over 10 minutes' walk in the opposite direction is Piskopiano village, another great option for authentic dining. For livelier options, the resort and beach of Hersonissos is a short car journey away, while the excellent Star Beach offers a free waterpark perfect for children and adults alike.
