The Waters Country House

Excellent stay! Such a cool spot and had the best sleep I've had in Ireland! Breakfast was delicious and varied, so something for every taste preference.

Our only regret staying at the Waters was that we only booked one night! The setting and facilities were phenomenal, and our hosts took such good care of us. We stayed in the Granny Flat, so had our own little hideaway right next to the main building, giving us close access to the bar/lounge and spring, but plenty of privacy too. Had a fantastic full breakfast, and stopped by the nearby Newtown Castle at the Burren College of Art for a visit. Would recommend very highly and would love to go back...a truly special place to stay!

What an amazing and unique find. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations, property and amazing staff! The owners, Maria and Wolfgang were present and friendly throughout our stay and the morning breakfast was first rate. I couldn't possibly recommend anyplace more than this. Thank you! WOW! What an incredible location. One the coolest places I have ever stayed. The property was absolutely gorgeous, with lots to explore and experience. The main house with the common area, library and dining room were incredible. The owner takes such good care of the guests. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed at the Granny Flat which is it's own little house. It was adorable and quite cozy. The only problem we had was with the shower - it needs updated knobs because it kept popping off - and the drain was clogged so it took a minute for the water to drain. Just needs a little TLC. Other than that - I wish we had been able to stay longer. A wonderful experience.
