Hotelito Azul - A Michelin Key Winner

I was here in the off season so it was very quite but ended up having a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the hotel amenities. The gym is great and the roof top pool was very refreshing. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. The food was great!! Ate 50% of my meals at the hotel and really enjoyed it. if you are looking for a cozy hotel nestled in the jungle this is the place!

Nice place, right on the beach, restaurant is pretty good but You need to read all the details before booking. - the rooms don't have tvs - people aren't at the front desk 24/7 - you have to reserve the gym - you have to reserve the jacuzzis - you need to text them before parking, it isn't an open lot, they have to unlock it - you need to use a qr code to get in the hotel - they don't have bikes to borrow

Great location great staff amazing view ten of ten

The staff were some of the the most helpful and friendly people I have ever dealt with when traveling. This says a lot as I travel half the year. The food and drinks at the restaurants was wonderful. The one thing I will point out is that the hotel owners need to work on updating broken patio furniture and the hotel as a whole. For what they charge it really was sad to see the hotel looking worn out. Note: we had 4 villas (not really a villa more like room with deck) for 7 days and the air con did not work well in one of the villas. Power was out several times for long periods which meant no water either but we understand this can be typical in the area. The highlight besides the beauty of the area was the staff.
