Wonderful place with a one of a kind view!

Everything about our stay was top notch. The host was very welcoming from the initial booking all the way through check-in, and the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The house is in a beautiful location and very comfortable. We would have loved to stay even longer.

We loved this place: Diana, who manages the property for the owners, was very friendly, helpful and responsive to all our questions and needs. The property itself gave us a front-row seat to the awesome forces that are still forming the island of Hawaii: It's adjacent to an area devastated by a 2018 volcanic eruption. It's a great location to explore anywhere on the eastern side of the Big Island, from nearby Kalapana and the Red Road, to Hilo, all the way up to Waipio. The house, which is off the grid and is solar- and battery-powered, has every modern convenience. We hope to stay here again.

Clean and beautiful property. Property manager and owner communication was great. Family enjoyed the amenities and rested after being active all day near Hilo. Thank you and Happy New Year.
