Soothing shades of lavender and gray welcome guests into our most secluded guest room at Odonata Escape, nestled deep among the mesquite trees...... but still only 5 mins from Main Street in Fredericksburg
The space
Lavender is a container home room, combining the modern conveniences of today with a rural setting and backdrop. Lavender is less than 4 miles from Main Street Fredericksburg, but also 100 miles from the town or city in it setting. Lavender is a room in Odonata Escape -- a space a destination built around a soothing plaza that abounds with Hill Country wildlife.
Lavender has an expanded mini-kitchen (microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge, Keurig machine -- with included coffee), a private bathroom, and KING! bed.
It is a place where the old meets the new. Embrace a fun, funky experience where you can stop and take a deep breath away from your daily routine and chaotic life. Rest, relax, recharge…. or ruminate at Odonata Escape, where rustic meets refined!

Great place to stay for a couple and a dog. Cozy and cute. Out in the country but only 5 min. from the Fredericksburg strip. Greeted by J.D. with a nice talk (nice guy). The shipping containers were designed perfectly and the place was better than the website showed. Although we didn't have time to use the outside fire pit or grill, it was set up nicely. I booked this place myself for our 33rd. anniversary and was kinda worried what my wife would think, she loved it. The only thing I didn't like is no TV. I will defiantly stay there again but will bring a small TV with me.

Container duplexes off a short, bumpy road were a great find! Accommodations were small, spotless & very comfortable. Thoughtfully decorated living space & well-appointed bathroom with generous shower. I especially enjoyed the generous supply of fluffy towels! Front porch with chairs to sit & enjoy Hill Country charm with a glass of wine - a wonderful repast!
