SHADOW PINE LODGE 1925 OLD HUNTING LODGE.

So cute and rustic. Has most everything you’ll want or need. Definitely worth the time.

We absolutely loved it. This is a beautiful refurbished hunting cabin with a spacious downstairs area, large bathroom, and modern kitchen. Upstairs in the loft is the main bedroom which is perfect for a cozy couple's retreat. It's the ideal quiet get away. Even during July 4 there was no noise and any fireworks were so far away you could see them, but you won't hear the noise. The only word of caution is that the access to the cabin is a narrow, winding foot path, so this is not ideal if you plan on bringing a lot of luggage or have someone with mobility issues. Otherwise, it's the perfect stay for a long weekend in the mountains.

This lodge was the perfect home base for a weekend of hiking and climbing in the area. The home is super clean, wonderfully stocked, and the deck is a perfect spot to relax after a long day on the trails. The owners were also super communicative throughout. Would 10000% recommend, and will look for this spot again for my next trip!

The place was nice. The Hot Tub was great. Good kitchen with good amenities. Everything was good, but… getting to the house one a one way street, you have to go down and turn around to get up the hill to park. Then there is a hike 200 feet and up 30 ft elevation that’s winding, gravel, and dirt. I had to make 6 trips up and down with my food and suitcases. If this was a place you would park and take your things in 20 feet on the same level, I would stay again. I’m older so this was hard for me. If you’re younger and don’t mind the hike up to it, I think you will like it.
