Candlewood Suites Bethlehem South by IHG

The hotel was fine for what it needed to be. The room was a little musty so we needed to keep the temperature lower than normal. The lady at the front desk I worked with at check-in Thursday and checkout Sunday was AMAZING, unfortunately her male colleague who was there Saturday morning acted like he was doing me a favor to just let me know whether or not I could even have late checkout Sunday. We did not use much of their amenities. It would be nice if they would add a modest wine or beer selection like other area hotels have done, but not a deal breaker.

Nice location. The first room they gave us was on the first behind the check in desk and it smelled horrible, like old fish. We went right back to the desk and they changed the room immediately. Nice staff and prompt courteous service.

Our stay was for one night four a group of four friends. The room was clean and well accommodated with the kitchen and cooking utensils. We did not partake in the pool or fitness room. One thing to know is that this property does not offer a continental breakfast. They do have a great selection of snacks available for purchase. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was central to Allentown and the Windcreek casino. Would recommend this property for a quick visit to the area.

Very clean and spacious room.
