Town: Hayfield, a charming High Peak village, is located on the Peak National Park's northernmost boundary, in a peaceful agricultural setting. As a result of its close vicinity to Kinder Scout, this quiet small hamlet is popular with walkers. There are two ways to get to New Mills from Sett Valley, one for serious ramblers who want to go to the Kinder Plateau, the other for families and others who prefer a more leisurely stroll.
