WOW! What a wonderful place to spend time with family. The cottage was clean, very comfortable, well stocked and exactly as described. Evenings on the patio allowed us to enjoy the quiet neighborhood and watch the stars come out at night. Our dog Roscoe loved the location as well. We couldn't have more pleased with our stay. Our host Melody is incredibly kind and so accommodating. Communicating was a breeze and the response time perfect. It's no wonder Melody is rated as a Premier Host.We love the area, the history, the downtown area and the parks were amazing. The Westover Deli, Downtown Roots and The Herringbone restaurants provided great options for dining in and carry-out. The shops and boutiques along S Broad St filled our shopping needs (and wants) and early stops at the local coffees shops helped get us moving in the morning. We plan to return and would definitely recommend the Cape Cod Cottage at Pembroke Creek to family and friends!

Every bit of technology, entertainment areas inside and out were comfortable. Great appliances for cooking. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. Dog walk access to run them just down the street. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Adorable house that fit our family perfectly. Owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The host hung out in the shed on the property and monitored the coming and going of guests during the stay. My friends felt like they were being watched; she even texting me when food was delivered. We also had a misunderstanding about the fact that I was renting it on behalf of family friends who are missionaries and were coming to my wedding from out of town. The host freaked out that I wasn’t staying there and made me come to the house so she could check my ID 30min before my rehearsal dinner, even threatening my friends with small children that she was going to kick them out if I didn’t arrive by 5pm. I understand her concern, but she took it way too far causing a scene on my wedding weekend. When I booked it I asked if it was ok for me to rent it for them and she said yes. It was just a bizarre experience. If you’re too freaked about who might be staying on your property, you should not have your property listed on VRBO. I’ve never had an issue like this with a host before.
