Todd was a wonderful host. My friends and I brought our bass boat and sea-doos down for the holiday weekend. In order for us to stay somewhere, there are some boxes that must be checked. We travel with our two dogs and the home must allow dogs. There must be a dock to keep the boat so you do not have to take it in and out each day when your sunburnt and tired. The home needs to be on a decent side of the lake as to not require a 30 minutes boat ride to meet with our friends. Everything else is a plus. This home not only checked all of the mandatory boxes but also checked many of the "plus" boxes. There was a large driveway to pull in our large boat trailers. There is covered parking for the boats in case in rains or just for peace of mind. The vibe of the neighborhood is wonderful. The vibe of the house is wonderful. Todd was very polite and helpful. There was not 100 house rules where you spend the whole trip paranoid. There was not cameras in every direction where you feel like you are being constantly watched. The grill is nice. The back patio is nice. The living room is set up perfectly for conversation. The washer and dryer make drying wet swim suits easy. The showers were nice. The beds were super comfortable. I am not one to typically write reviews besides "X/10" but Todd truly deserves it. We are rather picky and our stay was perfect. We will stay here again.

Clean property. Check in was easy. Walking to the beach was nice. The steps to the boat dock was steep. Great fishing spot. The rooms are clean and ready for family stays. Enjoyed the hot tub.

The house inside was very clean and accurately shown in the photos. Outside was a great place to hang out. BBQ needs a little TLC. The dock was a short walk and the beach is a short walk as well.

The inside was better than the outside. The yard needs immediate attention. Listing states plenty of room for parking but the grass was so high you could not see where to park. Upon opening the door to go in, massive cop webs and dust in the door jam. My husband had to get a broom to knock it down. I was just very disappointed. We paid way over price and with that expected so much more.Kitchen wasn't stocked with the usual things we are used too. Like a pizza pan and a working can opener. The top oven didn't work. I had my son run to the store to get the things we needed. I know that sounds like I'm just picking but every other house we have stayed at from Oklahoma to Florida the houses have been stocked with just basic things. We always grill out and the grill was so disgusting. We had to majorly clean it before we even used it. The photos show how bright and lit up the backyard was, well half the lights were burnt out. I will say the beds were comfortable and that is important. Overall the house did its job of giving us a place to lay our heads at night but that's about it. I mentioned all this to the VRBO contact and he was polite and stated "the cleaner usually takes care of those things". Do they mow the yard, change light bulbs, stock a kitchen, clean a grill. I didn't want to write a review like this but this is what I look for when booking places to stay so I would want to know. Update and clean up and it would be a nice place to stay.
