Smack bang in the middle of the old town, situated just in the pedestrianised area.
Given the location, there is no parking, but we had no problems finding free parking within a 3 minute walk.
(I'd recommend a car so that you can visit outlying towns / villages/ mountains.)
The hotel does a good continental breakfast between 7 and 10.
L'Aquila has plenty of options for bars, restaurants etc.

Not every room looks like the photos on Expedia, however the reality is just as good. It's a very unique place, just completely delightful and wonderful staff. Great restaurant and staff there as well. I would definitely return.

Very large room, comfortable bed, ample storage space for clothing etc if it was an extended stay. Central location, beautiful decor.

It is a nice hotel, just in the downtown, close to everything. Staff is great, always trying to do their best to help you. I would come back.
