Aurora cabins were super cute and had our own sauna. The food with half board was delicious and the lodge had great access to cross country ski trails. The only thing I wish they had was robes for the room (as often had to run out of the bathroom and everyone can see into your glass room) and a head board so the pillows didn’t keep falling off the bed! Haha

Great hotel in a slightly remote location—if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s perfect. We absolutely loved our stay, and it was very convenient for all the activities we wanted to do. The guides were excellent, and it’s a fantastic spot for seeing the Northern Lights. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious and well presented. The only small criticism is that the room lacked a few thoughtful details, such as cotton pads, body lotion, and hair conditioner. Small pampering touches like you often find in nice hotels would make the experience even better. :)

There’s nothing quite like waking at 2 am to find yourself gazing at stars right over your bed. The aurora cabins do that for you, and as well provide a ringside view of the northern lights when they’re out. All I can say is wow. Meals are also amazingly well prepared, creative starters and mains - though tell them before you arrive if you don’t eat meat because they may not otherwise have a fish alternative. And super helpful staff….
