Uncomfortably tiny Rooms

The location and the style of the rooms

When we checked in we were given a room that already had people in when we went in, we went to reception to complain and they gave us another room which again had people in already. We had travelled 6/7 hours to get here so was exhausted and it just felt like organisation could have been better, but the staff were very apologetic and helpful

- the fast problem resolution from staff - location is great for paddington station and surroundings, loved being in walking distance from a lot a things we wanted to do - the breakfast was phenomenal!

the lift was broken and I had specifically chosen the property for this aspect, and it wasnt fixed until the last day of the stay. I noticed a lot of older patrons so feel bad if they had to lug their bags it was also weird the that the name of the hotel on booking.com only matched a piece of paper in the stand, and in the background still had old branding The breakfast room has two access points and on the busy Saturday morning it was absolute chaos, as people were going to the other door and having to walk across the dining room to line up on the other side in a hallway that is fit for single file only. - better organisation - LOCK the other door or direct patrons to one central entry point at check in.

Nice enough area

The room, the dirty room which was covered in dust and grubby carpet. Very small double bed in a very small bedroom. The bathroom was OK but an empty shower gel and dirty surfaces.
