Famous actors including Ronald Reagan, stayed there

Located in heart of Guatemala where the original buildings and cathedral stand
Original stairway,, it’s unique,
Nice dining room 10 minutes away from modern dining,, DENNYS restaurant
Atmosphere is very quaint like going back in time
If you’re the adventurous person it’s worth the stay
If you’re wife isn’t well the room ceilings are 10’ high

Great pool and comfortable rooms. This was five star hotel maybe in the early 1900s. Architecturally unique. Art deco trim. Decent restaurant and outstanding staff. Great location one block from street promenade. Walk to museums and galleries. Metro nearby. It is a solid three star.
