The Frampton Arms

All fine except the booking was incorrect-I booked a double room and got a twin

The room was very well appointed and modern. However there was a random pill (Advil?) on the floor in the middle of the carpet when we walked in. The walls really desperately need paint. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room had AC which was excellent! Where the property does not do well is the restaurant where basic instructions like needing to order from the bar are not given. More confusing was that if you wanted dessert, you ordered that from the table. Staff never checked in on food or drink refills. The young, friendly staff members are more interested in socializing with each other than cleaning off a table, and even walls which were splashed with something?!? and not even wiped down. The food was fine, dessert was good, the continental breakfast had a good basic selection.

Nice, clean room, very good supply of hot drinks ingredients. Everything you need for short break. Could do with a new shower head, but was ok. Restaurant got busy, glad we booked. Lovely restaurant setting, food was really good. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. A really good location for exploring that part of Dorset.

Amazing place to stay, eat and drink! Our room was spotless, freshly decorated - bathroom immaculate. We’ll definitely be booking a room for our next trip. Thank you to all involved in making our stay incredible!!
