This establishment was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed... It felt more like renting a house than being at a hotel... Mostly because we were the only people there due to bad weather. The property is very remote, with a 15 to 30 minute drive to go to Walmart or dinner. (A lot of places close at 9:00 p.m., so get there early.)
The property was very quiet in the morning, which allowed for spending time outside and enjoying nature... Especially from the enclosed deck.
David who greeted us was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, staying a few minutes after 7:00 p.m. to make sure we didn't have any questions before he left for the day. (They do not have 24-hour coverage, but the owner lives nearby: plan accordingly.)
Our room was very cozy, and we turned the air conditioning to the highest level, and actually had to turn it down overnight because it was almost too cold in the room.

We had an amazing time at Harborwalk Lodge. We lucked out and had the entire place to ourselves. It's a beautiful lodge with extremely comfortable, clean accommodations.
The hospitality we received from the owners and staff was so warm and welcoming. They made us feel more like family visiting as opposed to hotel guests. We would stay here again if and when we return to the area.
