The desk clerk that I interacted with was about the friendliest most helpful desk clerk I believe I have ever encountered at a hotel.

Motel One is just the best choice for your stay in Ulm - rooms are simple but clean, hotel location and its roof bar is unique.
We had some problems at check-in as their system was down for > 6 hours and the stuff did not know how to manage this.
But this was surely an exception.

Great location. Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Roof top bar a bonus as well.
