The host was so helpful and very accommodating, it’s in an amazing location, in the heart of the Sassi.
The terrace up the top was beautiful

The facilities are modern and comfortable, the location is tricky to reach by car due to the ZTL but it is otherwise very much worth it, and anyway Pasquale was available to guide us on any questions we had, very much recommended!
The property is inside the city's ZTL so you can only access by car in certain timeframes. If you plan properly and in advance it is however absolutely not a problem.
The only other note is regarding the city distribution. The property is in the lowest part of the city, which means you have to be prepared to walk up many stairs to reach many other touristic attractions. However, stairs are anyway hardly avoidable in Matera, so it is more of a PSA than a downside.

Location was perfect. Room was lovely and clean, at a good price. Roof terrace had great views of the whole city, and the free bottle of Prosecco on arrival a welcome touch. Great advice from Pasquale on where to visit. Thanks!

Great location with restaurants nearby and being in the middle of the Sassi.
Everything was very good! Our room was great, but I think if anyone has any balance issues, going up the stairs to get to the bed might be rough.
