I liked everything. The apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean, the kitchen well outfitted, and there was a private balcony with an incredible view. We had the guest house breakfast the first morning which was all delicious local items. Gimmelwald gets my vote as the best village to stay in the area and Esther’s Guesthouse exceeded my expectations for lodgings.

No cars, blissful. Waterfall noise was better than a sound machine. Windows open all night to hear the bells on the cows and the rooster in the morning, dreamy. The whole experience was picturesque. Walking to Mürren for a fun excursion, exploring the other trams and mountain peaks while hiking, paragliding, enjoying cocktails in valleys. I could have stayed for a month!
