The property was convenient & flexible. We needed somewhere to store our bags before check in so the lady at the front desk kindly allowed to store them behind the desk with her. The room locks were good and durable with an additional lock to ensure security. There were tvs with netflix in the room, plenty of plug sockets & complimentary soaps in the shower and bathroom. One room was fairly small but did the job for one night especially since it’s for one person. The other room was lovely and spacious. The bed was a pretty regular mattress nothing fancy. Plenty of storage to put clothes. The rooms are good enough for one night if you just want a bed to sleep in.

After checking in, we walked up the stairs and were instantly hit with the cigarette smell, we went into the first room and found it was adequate, it was spotless, there were some dirty areas but nothing to the point it was disgusting to stay in. The bed was clean, but the floor was partially carpeted. Then we went into the other bedroom, the bedroom smell of cigarettes was very strong in the second room, while it was very spacious for a single room, it was about the same levels as the first room besides the smell. The bathroom however was pretty questionable. The “light” above the mirror was no existence, all that was there was the mount but no light, it looked like it had been ripped off, then the toilet is very close to the sink. The bathtub it’s self was pretty bad, the curtain was clearly old or well used with stains on the bottom, the sides were fairly dirty and the shower head wasn’t properly attached to the wall, you would’ve had to taken it out of the holder to actually shower. After showering in the first room, the receptionist came up to my room saying there was a leak coming down from under us in the reception room, i explained that no water left the shower cubicle so wasn’t sure what exactly was the issue. My boyfriend stayed in the other bedroom with the smell and his clothes smelt like cigarettes the next day. the first room was just fine and did the job that was needed, definitely wasn’t as bad/dirty as the other room.
