A-Rome Suite

It is probably high up there with the most beautiful room we have stayed in and we have travelled the world! It was spotlessly clean, staff always on hand to help via message, and location perfect. The shower was really big and had loads of space to use which was fantastic. When you leave, turn right and right again, go straight down that road and you are on Via Cavour.

We had a few issues that were sorted out with water. First told it was a problem in the kitchen but no hot water in the bathroom taps, bidet or shower, it was fixed within a few days . We had an issue one night with virtual key system locking us out despite sending a video to staff showing we had entered everything correct. There were really loud mechanical noises early each morning which we think were pipes or something but really loud. The biggest issue for us was that when our door code and the one next to it was the same. We discovered this after helping a few guests get into their room. Luckily there are only two rooms but it wasn't good for safety especially as we had all our wedding attire, money gifts and passports in the room. When we got back a few times and went to unlock our door, it had already been left open by cleaners. We would definitely stay again but hope these things can be a bit better.

The location and how easy it is to walk to and from

Noise. Air-con machine was loud and the units outside. It did make it hard to sleep

Fantastic location. Easy walk from the station and to many sights.

The locks took time to understand and would be challenging with phone service.

It was close-ish to the train station. A 10-15 min walk to Trevi and Colosseum . Spacious. The little pastry and coffee station was nice in the common area. Lovely toiletries.

The camera in the common area was a bit weird… the room we stayed in (I think) it kind of pointed at the door so I was in a towel once and then we noticed the camera. The fridge is tiny.. there was another room staying there and they took up the whole fridge, we barely had space to put a bottle of water in to keep cold. The bathroom definitely needs some TLC. Paint coming off etc. the spray gun by the toilet did not work. We weren’t told that there was someone coming in to clean the room as it’s not really a hotel so that was a bit off putting as we had left things like passports and clothes on the bed. If we had known, we probably wouldn’t packed stuff away. The bed was uncomfortable as it was two beds pushed together 🙈
