The location, the view, the cleanliness.
IKEA furniture that is not quite to the standard of the superior location.

Wonderful coastal location, sea views from the apartment and its balcony.
Cleanliness.
Proximity to excellent boulangerie/patisserie and local bars and cafes.
Easy and cheap ferry to/from Toulon.
Bedding: though generally comfortable, the two halves of the divan tended to move apart. The mattress toppers didn't quiet cover the full area of the divans.
