The Staff was really nice! We enjoyed our stay. It was very close to the station. The breakfast was good.
Eventho the building is a bit older they kept everything very clean.

The value and location of this hotel was phenomenal! The facilities are a bit older but well maintained and clean. We were within walking distance of every major thing we wanted to do + extremely close to the train station. This was a great hotel for a quick two day stay in Matsumoto!
As mentioned above, the facilities are a bit older so it is a bit of a trade off for the location. It was one of the smaller rooms we stayed in during our two week trip but I wouldn't say this is uncommon for Japan.
