Very friendly staff, check in possible quite early, location close to the center, spacious room, it has an old charm, good value for money

Quite ran-down, especially the bathroom; breakfast could be better (bread, jam, butter, not too good coffee); but for this price it is good

Sandra, the hostess, was very friendly and helpful. The hostel was in a very convenient place in the historic center. My small room was cleaned daily. The bed was comfortable.There was a rooftop terrace with a kitchen available for the guests to use. I dried some laundry up there on the washing lines. There was help carrying my heavy suitcase up a long flight of stairs to the hostel. Generally I enjoyed my stay here and recommend it.

The light in the room was VERY dim. Hardly enough light to read. There was no window to the outside, just a tiny window onto the hall. There was a lot of audible street noise. Breakfast was quite simple and not available at all if the guest had to leave early

Good location in Arequipa. Very nice view from the terrasse where you can see the volcano Chachani & Misti. We enjoyed our breakfast there. The lady & mister were friendly and give us good advice about what to do in the area.

The room where we slept was noisy because it faces a main road and lacks well-insulated windows.

The property is well-located and the room was pleasantly decorated. Facilities and rooms were clean.

Service was poor. The attendant charged an arbitrary exchange rate from USD to Soles that did not match the price given on booking and was unhelpful when we later realised the discrepancy. When we paid for the second half of our stay, the rate went back to normal, which felt suspicious. When booking this hostel, be aware that you may be charged a different rate on arrival. The room is also noisy early in the mornings as the property is located on a commercial street.
