The room was big and the bed very comfortable, lovely view from balcony over the courtyard with fig trees. The breakfast which was delicious, fresh orange juice, coffee, lots of fruit and pastries, bacon, eggs, yogurt, honey. Everything was spotless and Christina and her husband could not have done more for us. They were so kind and genuinely hospitable. I had read the reviews before booking which were all so very good and everyone was correct, we loved Avra Hotel and will definitely be booking to stay there again.

We had a very pleasant 11-night stay at Avra Rooms. The property is run by a lovely Greek family who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with any request, often responding immediately. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and serviced daily throughout our stay. We particularly appreciated the shared balcony area, which offers a lovely sea view and a relaxing place to sit and unwind. Although some of the view is partially blocked by neighbouring buildings, it is still very enjoyable. The location is excellent for exploring Agia Galini. The beach, restaurants, taverns, cafés, and small shops are all within easy walking distance, making it convenient to enjoy the village without needing to drive. Guests should be aware that the return walk to the accommodation involves a fairly steep uphill climb, which may be challenging for those with limited mobility, but it also provides some lovely views over the village and coastline. We also appreciated the traditional Greek hospitality, including the hosts insisting on helping us carry our luggage to our rooms on arrival. Overall, the warm hospitality, cleanliness, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location made a very positive impression on us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There were very few negatives related to the accommodation itself. Parking directly in front of the property is somewhat limited, and availability can vary depending on the time of day. While the shared balcony offers a pleasant sea view, part of the view is obstructed by neighbouring buildings. Additionally, although the village centre, beach, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance, the return journey involves a fairly steep uphill climb, which may not suit everyone, especially during the hotter parts of the day. Other than these minor points, we found the accommodation and hospitality difficult to fault.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts very kind and considerate. The location is quite steep and the beach not so nice. But there are many wonderful beaches in the vicinity. And plenty good restaurants. We suggest to visit by car and Explorer the surroundings...

There was nothing to not like. It's a nice little town with everything one needs.
