The location is good, kind people very helpful

Language barrier can be challenging, two nights in a raw I jumped out of bed due to the alarm in the room connected to the tv, no body came to me to inform me what it is about. The first night I thought it was an accident may be someone pushed the button. The second time it was my last night and when I wake up I was in rush to catch up my train so never got time to tell them.

I rarely write reviews, but my stay here was about so much more than just a room. Although a 2-star hotel, it felt like a 5-star establishment due to the outstanding service and hospitality. The staff made me feel like family. From reception to luggage assistants, everyone was approachable. When I became unwell and an ambulance was called, the staff genuinely cared, regularly checking on me. I experienced so many acts of kindness, like a brother bringing me water and emptying bins, and staff accommodating my dietary needs due to stomach/dental treatments without making me feel uncomfortable. A special thank you to Madawi, Amira, and Alaa. Alaa invited me to his office, made me comfortable, shared reminders from the Qur'an, and made du'a for me. The management even gave me a thoughtful gift of delicious sweet and savoury bread from Madinah. I felt so valued that I am still in contact with Alaa and other friends I met at the hotel shops since returning to the UK. Even the barbers offered warm words and du'a, which brought real comfort. The hotel has excellent facilities: a large masjid, a supermarket, and various affordable restaurants (breakfast buffet 20 SAR; lunch/dinner 25 SAR). My room was clean and excellent, with a comfortable bed, perfect AC, and swift room service. Best of all, I had a beautiful view of the Makkah Clock Tower, which was one of the best hotel views I have ever experienced. Being sick away from home was difficult, but the sincerity and Islamic brotherhood shown by the staff gave me immense comfort. May Allah reward every member of staff, bless them and their families, and grant them goodness in this life and the Hereafter. One practical tip: the walk to Masjid al-Haram from hotel is roughly the same distance as the walk from the hotel's bus drop-off point at Jabal Al Kaaba Bus Station to the Haram. Keep this in mind if you have mobility issues. Jazak Allahu khayra
