The property had character and was cosy with the log burner lit. The peace and quiet was great for us too

We loved everything about Gate Lodge, in particular the rustic, relaxed interior and the large enclosed garden for our dogs. Also wonderful off-lead walking opportunities within walking distance from the Bamff estate.
Faster internet speed and a more reliable connection would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

Excellent cottage, everything you'll need is there. Beautiful estate, lots of nice walks.

8 / 10Doskonały·sie 2025
Quiet location, wilderness area, and off grid in terms of wifi and electricity plugs were at the main reception area rather than the accommodation.
Getting there requires a car in most cases, and fireplace was the only type of heating so you need to know how to use it. It gave a bit of smoke inside the lodge.
