Holiday Inn Washington Capitol - Natl Mall by IHG

My brother and I were making a road trip to Washington to visit some of the museums. And during our stay at this hotel , we were greeted with positivity and enthusiasm. My brother, who was special needs was made to feel as someone who wasn't special needs.Just a all around good guy. The people at the front desk accommodated us by validating the majority of our parking when we weren't properly made aware that there was no free parking. I understood that breakfast cost a certain amount of money per person.I couldn't leave my brother alone , so I went to sit down while he had breakfast and I was told that I could have breakfast at no cost. The generosity and the staff made the experience better. But however, the room was not exactly completely clean. Upon arrival and the air conditioner was not adequate enough to keep the room cool enough during the extreme temperatures that we faced. The restaurant menu was not very\nDifferent than any other place that we have been. Overall, the experience that was the positive was the staff at the front desk. But other areas of focus and concern could be the room , and the dinner location was great

The elevator was wonky. The staff was excellent

Great stay

Amazing staff, perfect location.
