We were attending a wedding, and this house was very convenient for our family-- 4 adults and a toddler. The location was great and our first time in a "cabin in the woods."

Cozy feel, fully stocked kitchen, bring your own shot glasses.

Very comfortable, great location for us!

If you want to stay in a northern CA, retro, early 1900’s with updates, one family owned cabin this is your place. It’s got the original wood kitchen cabinets and checkered linoleum floor with enamel sink, no air condition, no garage, and more details of its time period. Closets and drawers have owner items but there’s room for your things, too. The staircase is steep and wood, not toddler or senior friendly. Both bathrooms are on the 1st level with 3 bedrooms of 4 located on the 2nd level so you have to do the steep steps for a middle of the night bathroom visit. Pluses were a plethora of board games, a fuss-ball table and deer roaming in the yard entertained our group of children 1-6 years old. Negatives were lack of window screens for cooling down the house in summer and mediocre bedding. Modern cabin was not what I would title the listing but we enjoyed our stay.
