The house is right on the beach behind a tall bluff. The view from the upper unit is magnificent. And the sound of the waves so soothing! We have stayed there several times, the place is well maintained, the owner is very responsive, and we appreciate the nice upgraded bathrooms , upgraded beds and the well stocked kitchen.Already looking forward to our next stay!

This is the second year we have stayed here. The place is exceptional, communication with host and property manager is exceptional and the location is exceptional.

We stayed 5 nights in April at this nice property in Lavalette. It is nicely furnished and well decorated. We enjoyed the ocean view. Paula made sure everything was perfect for us. A place to remember!

We stayed the last week of September. The house is awesome. It was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We (unfortunately) booked during a hurricane/tropical storm. No matter. There were puzzles and books on site. Once in and battened down, we were snug and warm. The view, no matter what state the ocean is in, just cannot be beat. We really enjoyed meeting Dwight, who was just lovely. Paula was also pleasant to deal with. If I had any negative feedback, it has to do with the pricing. The "add-ons" after I started the booking process were close to $1K more than the "per night" rate would lead one to believe for a 6 night stay. Still, we'll think about going back. Maybe the weather will cooperate better the next time. Or maybe, we won't book so late in the season. Live and learn.
