We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Views of the lake are wonderful, as the house is situated above the water, with a bit of a climb down to the dock and water. Lake levels were low due to drought, but this wasn't a problem. There's a public docking area next door, and we enjoyed watching boats go by- no excessive traffic or noise while we were there. The living areas were very nicely decorated, and the bedrooms super comfortable. We enjoyed the record player and the stash of records- a novelty for our kids. Well-equipped kitchen. The wrap-around decks were the best part; a perfect place to read, eat, sun bathe and watch the stars. Highly recommend!

Need to start out with the house was beautiful. The water was down (not the host's at all) so the dock wasn't even in the water which was disappointing since we went there to fish. It was too steep to stand at the shore and fish for very long. Also, heads up there is a lot of steps down into the house, at a very steep incline. I had knee surgery a few months ago so it wasn't easy for me. Also, there isn't really a lot of comfortable furniture other than a couch and two small chairs in the living room, so if you're going with a crowd there might not be enough seating. Other than that, it was a beautiful place

Everything we needed was included, as well as several things we hadn't thought of (the guitar!). Views were lovely and the whole family were delighted with the home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Cove and will remember our trip for years to come!
