Our stay at the Lazy Bear Den was perfect. The house was clean and the beds were just right. We played pool down stairs. The arcade was fun. My son stayed down there and loved having his own room and bathroom. 3 deer visited regularly. It is close to Vallecito Reservoir. The fishing was fantastic! The host did a good job of keeping in contact. I would recommend staying here next time you're in Bayfield, CO.

The home was in a quiet well kept neighborhood. It was relaxing sitting out on the back deck. Mule deer came daily around the property. The beds were comfy. Home was clean and comfortable. Having the multiple bathrooms was a perk. Plenty of space. There was a game room in the basement, although we just didn’t have enough time to use it. We preferred either cooking in or going to Durango for dining. Not a lot of options that we found in Bayfield. If you are near James Ranch it’s a great place to grab a burger and sit out in the picnic area. They also have a small but great farm store.

Nice house, comfortably accommodated three couples. Pet friendly. Deer came into the yard every day to greet us.

We had a fantastic time! This is a perfect home for a family. There was plenty of space and beautiful surroundings.
