Adagio Downtown Rooms

Locations was really good, near loads of restaurants and public transport. Also walking distance to the Heroes Square and Opera House. Acommodation is very simple and basic, but it suited my needs. The room was small, enough for 1 person but althought it was a double room, it wouldn't suit 2 people as there was no space for a second bag to be open. Cleaness was a 8.5/10, which is good. Staff is very friendly at the front desk. And I felt quite safe in the area at all times, considering I'm a woman travelling alone.

It is a bit noisy if there are people talking in the corridors, coming in and out or walking past. Air Con was not working well as well but at this time of the year it was not a major problem. Pillows were not really good (way too soft/thin for me) but they're normally not in hotels/airbnbs.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable.

I didn’t appreciate that it is inside an apartment building. It’s not a regular hotel but I guess many hotels in Budapest are in the same situation. It didn’t have a microwave or something to heat food.

Perfectly located right near the metro and bus stations, making travel incredibly convenient. The main street-facing windows do let in some engine noise from passing cars (it is quiet when you keep the window closed), the room is clean and the bed is so comfortable that I had no trouble falling asleep. The neighborhood is nice to explore with a lot of restaurants
