Pelican Retreat was great for our family trip to the beach! The home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (two of the bathrooms are connected by a shared bathtub). The pool was great for our littles to swim in, the deepest part was 5FT, FYI it is smaller than the pictures make it out to be, reminder pictures can be deceiving these days. The house was clean and in working order. We did have some freezer issues and a window was leaking from the storms, our host was very responsive and had someone out for both as soon as they could. Similarly the hot tub needed refreshed and someone was there the next day to drain and refill it. The walk to the beach was very easy, flat, and the littles didn't mind too much. There is a Beach Wagon, some toys, a couple of chairs, baby bed and high chair in the closet, those are truly hidden gems that were so helpful to have! Highly recommend and would book again.

Very short, easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed our time here!

My family was really happy with this beautiful home so close to the beach ( walking distance) very easy to check in and out 10 of 10 surely will be booking back to this lovely home soon thanks a lot :)

The toilet leaked significantly onto the floor, and had been for some time, based on the stains on the floor. The top rack of the dishwasher was unusable, as the wheels had rusted off, and it would pull off the tracks with even the slightest pressure. The hot tub had a significant amount of mold growing in it. It was quite foul and clearly had not been serviced in sometime. The tankless water heater was set at 100 degrees, so the “hot” water was tepid at best until I turned up the setting. Overall, the house was relatively clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was extremely close to the beach. So, while the items listed above were not showstoppers, they simply indicated an overall lack of attention to detail.
