Great place !

This property is in the quaint and charming fan district of Richmond near VCU. The home was so charming and the neighbors were so friendly. The interior was beautifully decorated and the artwork was vintage to modern; so cool. The home was well equipped with all the amenities one could need and the beds were very comfortable/cozy. The courtyard out back is very roomy and a great place for our granddaughter to explore and for us to relax. There are wonderful restaurants, pubs, bakeries and boutiques nearby;:all within walking distance. And you'll want to walk to get a feel of the friendliness of this community. It was a really wonderful home and Carrie was a great host. Very responsive and helpful with questions we had about the area. I would highly recommend this charming home!!

Comfortable house for 3 friends to get together. Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy street parking. Easy walk to bus station to get to the State Capitol area and restaurants. Quick drive to the Botanical Garden, Virginia Fine Arts Museum and historical houses. Safe and walkable area.

Great location! We love the Fan district. However, when we arrived, the house had not been cleaned. Starting with the front door, that was mostly glass, it was filthy. The floors were covered in dust, as was the furniture. The blinds hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Bathrooms were dirty as well. So, we had to clean the entire house on our first day. Shame on you.Other than that massive inconvenience, the house is roomy and comfortable. The location is great, with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Close to Monument Ave., which is lovely to walk down and view all of the historic homes.My advice is to hire new cleaners and have someone check the home prior to the guests arrival. Also, it would be nice for you to refund our cleaning fee...since I'm the one who cleaned the house.
