Very nice appartement with an excellent view

After an inital hiccup with not being met at property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Madeira Palace III. Views were to die for so spent a lot of time gazing out to sea and enjoying the changing colours in the sky at sunset with drinks on the balcony. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and fresh. I loved waking up to the sound of the sea. Getting down to the beach which we could see was a bit tricky if you have any mobility issues. One of us had an achilles problem. Three swimming pools to choose from but very cold!!! In a residential area so not as touristy and busy as other parts. A couple of nice restaurants nearby. Easy to get transport into Funchal and back to the airport. Would certainly return to this apartment.

The apartment exceeded expectations and we had the pool to ourselves.

Beautifully situated, very well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment. No hesitation in recommending a stay here.
