Amo's Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for two nights (the day before traveling to the Accursed Mountains and another day upon our return). The hotel is charming; the room was spacious, pleasant, very clean, and quiet. But above all, I want to highlight the amazing hospitality of the staff—especially Samir. We met many good people in Albania, but the hospitality at this hotel went above and beyond: Samir’s smile upon our first meeting, the generous welcome, the genuine care, the help with purchasing travel tickets and coordinating our pickup from the hotel, the complimentary coffee, croissant, and orange juice, and the human warmth. By the way, the room rate is relatively low and certainly doesn't reflect the true value of the overall experience. I have visited many hotels, but this hotel—and Samir—will remain in my memory for years to come

Really good location as in the city centre and situated amongst where locals meet for coffee making it an authentic place. The interior of the room is really cool with a French chic vibe, the bed was super comfy and the room was a good size. The hospitality was second to none - the most friendly customer service that we experienced in Albania! Also there is on street parking outside the hotel.

The property was beautiful, we loved the room and all the colours used in the hotel’s interior. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was big enough to use comfortably. They organised parking for us right in front of the hotel and were looking out for us to arrive to show it to us. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly even the albanian men at the coffee shop evaluating our parking skills haha. When we checked out in the morning we got fresh orange juice, coffee, water and an amazing croissant. They even offered us more coffee for the road. The area is also a short easy walk to the main streets with lots of bars and restaurants but we loved that it was in a quieter area. We would definitely recommend staying here and will do so if we are in shkoder again.

The lights across the road from the hotel were quite bright into our room that the curtains didn’t a hundred percent block out, but this is an absolutely minimal issue.

Brilliant place to stay! The staff are super helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and great. Price very affordable. Location was also good. Parking available just outside the hotel, reserved by the staff's car double parked over two spaces. So just side park by it and call inside the hotel bar to get a staff member to free up the space. Complimentary coffee, orange juice and croissant each morning for hotel guests. Overall, highly recommended!

Nuffin, zilch, naffs, not a sausage! In other words, all good...
