We spent a glorious week at this very special Gite. We enjoyed an immersion in total peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Communication was great ahead of our stay. The check-in process was seamless and it was great getting to know Gilles and Ilona a little and learn about their plans for their amazing estate which they are renovating. This Gite is a must for anyone visiting the Loire Valley as it is very quiet but not far from local amenities. We highly recommend the Gite and will (without any doubt) be visiting again. Wow! What a beautiful property set in the most stunning grounds. The property is finished to a high standard, very modern and clean. Fully equipped with everything you need. The place is very relaxing. Gilles and IIona were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Also we enjoyed meeting Gerard the friendly peacock. Will definitely book again.

We have enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house, great design, excellent facilities, two bedrooms. It’s all peace and quiet, situated on a large domain, nearby a castle. The village of Bellevigne-En-Layon (7 minutes walk) offers the shops one might need; boulangerie, pharmacie, et cetera. . The owners of the house are friendly and most helpful if you need something.

The location was very near to town with groceries and bakery. The gite was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly to us and our children. We were able to see baby owls take flight and spend evenings wandering the garden. Highly recommended.
